Ads specifications explained
The dimensions of banners are measured in the number of pixels, so for
instance, a banner that is 468X60 is 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels
high.
Banners also have a weight dimension that is referred to the file size.
Increasing the number of colours, graphics, animation and words in a
banner increases its file size, or weight. The heavier the banner, the
longer it takes to appear on screen, which is why online publishers put
a limit on how heavy a banner can be.
See the specifications below for information about the dimensions and
weight restrictions of the different sizes of banners available on our
site.

Tips for Effective Web Ads
Less is more: Details (such as price lists, addresses, phone numbers,
times and dates) are best left on your Web site.
Encourage clicks by sponsoring contests, offering giveaways and
drawings, or inviting user participation. Don't forget to include the
phrase "click here" (or something similar) directly in your Web ads.
